North Island Regional Drama Fest

On November 22, 2025, we joined drama students from across northern Vancouver Island to deliver an engaging introduction to film and on-camera performance. The workshop covered everything from recording a strong audition tape and proper slating, to understanding essential camera settings, sound, and lighting. Students had the chance to step on camera and try an improvised scene, a commercial, or one of our pre-written scripts. We also demonstrated greenscreen techniques, discussed special effects, and offered hands-on experience with our live switcher. For those interested, we finished the session by capturing a few professional headshots.
