Our Story
At Marbles Media, we believe that every story deserves to be told authentically and creatively. The journey of our founder began with Marbles, a loyal and lifesaving CPTSD service dog who has been my steadfast companion through the darkest and most joyous moments of my life. Marbles' unwavering presence has not only saved her life but also inspired her to pursue her passion for storytelling with compassion and authenticity.

Laura Mudge
Founder, Videographer, Audio Video Specialist & Editor
Laura Mudge is the founder of Marbles Media, a filmmaker, writer,producer, actress, and arts educator based on Vancouver Island. With more than a decade of experience in the performing arts and media industries, she brings together creative storytelling, technical expertise, and a passion for community-driven arts programming. Throughout her career, Laura has worked extensively in theatre, film, and live production, mentoring youth through theatre and filmmaking programs while producing professional media content for businesses, organizations, and live events. Her experience includes film production, video editing, multi-camera livestreaming, live audio and video production, and directing youth arts programs. As both a performer and creator, Laura understands the power of storytelling and the impact it can have on individuals and communities. She has dedicated much of her career to helping young artists develop confidence, creativity, and technical skills, while also creating engaging visual content that helps businesses and organizations share their stories. Marbles Media was founded to provide creative media services that are professional, accessible, and community-minded. From short films and promotional videos to youth film classes and live event production, Marbles Media combines artistic vision with meaningful storytelling to bring ideas to life. Whether working behind the camera, on stage, or in the classroom, Laura is committed to creating opportunities for connection, creativity, and authentic expression through the arts.

Office Moral Officer and CPTSD Service Dog
Marbles is a small service dog, and is a Maltese and Yorkie mix called a Morkie. She provides our founder with support of her medical needs. She is highly trained and is used to working in many environments including theatre and live concerts. She has taken many a nap during a rock show, youth theatre camp and dance recitals. She is the inspiration behind our name, her reliability, kindness and genuine want to support guides us to support our clients with integrity and creativity.
